Familiar Desire Saturation

Burning through-gasoline and-cultural references

Hating and-fearing sexual preferences

Trying to-become unique-like-everyone else

Sped up the fed up, caught in the rat race.

What are we, what are we?

I don't know how long we'll go,

Or why we're still rollin'.

Can we keep up the pace,

Or will we fall flat on our face?

Now it wasn't me,

And it wasn't you.

Point the fingers-that's how we'll argue.

So many times I've lost my mind,

So many lives I've tried to complete

I don't think I can carry on

...much further.

What are we, what are we?

I don't know how long we'll go,

Or why we're still rollin'.

Can we keep up the pace,

Or will we fall flat on our face?

Turbulence within-this sharpened point-

A place grooved-to coast through-

Feed the soul - empty hunger-

And lead the blind

To their deaths!

We will never be spared

Present time when

We will never need

Another sip of lust

We will never be spared

Common sense to

Say no to that

Last drink of

Intoxication

  Suffocation by the need

To define that space we

Can believe in and

Ask ourselves

What are we, what are we?

RE: Familiar Desire Saturation

Lyrics>

Death to ladies first, then the gentlemen

All sorts of taxes, facelifts, abortion, nervous breakdance

Satanic girls gone wild, truly pucking suicidal.

First you try to "screw" it, then you try to eat it,

If it hasn't learned your name, you better kill it before they see it.

First you try to "screw" it, then you try to eat it,

If it hasn't learned your name, you better kill it before they see it.

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, now do it again)

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, et cetera)

First you try to "screw" it, then you try to eat it

If it hasn't learned your name, you better kill it before they see it

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

I've got a blackened soul, morals in a hole, wish I was so dead

Now the TV sends a tropical depression

Pointless intervention, legal separation, call my dealer or lawyer, we've got a situation

First you try to "screw" it, then you try to eat it,

If it hasn't learned your name, you better kill it before they see it.

First you try to "screw" it, then you try to eat it,

If it hasn't learned your name, you better kill it before they see it.

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, now do it again)

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, et cetera)

On the news, or is it the noose? The same results may vary

Side effects all vary

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

Arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

Arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

Arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

Arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, now do it again)

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon

(Puck, eat, kill, et cetera)

Puck the goddamn TV and the radio

And puck making hits, I'm taking credit for the death toll

It's arma-goddamn-motherpuckin-geddon.

Good question, how long can we go on before we fall...I loved this poem, it is full of energy just as the world is, but useful energy here...not just running on the wheel.

Loved the video (and the fine print)! :D

Thanks k@ri..means a lot =)

Yep...round and round us rats go on the wheel.. fine print rawks, too bad few decide to read much of what they sign. ;)

This is an excellent poem oscillationatend. Why not write something on VOIP phones. You have a great deal of knowledge and experience which you can share here. Best of luck.

Hey soni, thanks again for leaving a comment! I appreciate. I do write about technical stuff, just not under this pseudonym. I'm actually not as intelligent with VOIP as I'd like to be, but I do get the majority of it. And of course, it's trivial to tap into a conversation with patience, opportunity, and the right tools. ;)
