56Below is a video I just threw up on YouTube including the original recording of a track off my first L.P. I was sixteen..so excuse the angst. ;)

I look at something in the mirror everyday
Tracing it with my fingers, I know it's nothing anyway.
Just a cage that I'd soon as drop,
Just a lie that soon enough I'm going to stop.
I was once nailed upon a cross of TVs and Magazines;
Belong to all the others even though I claimed to be the anti-fiend. I was there, I was with them. I was there, I was with them. Being a beautiful lil'clone in my own right, but something inside grew to fight.
And this is my world, my right.
And this is my reality, my life.
A mask for you to love,
A mask that you'll learn is real.
I shot myself away many times to come to the conclusion,
Wound-down to my final devolution.
Realized who I was!
Becoming who I am!
And now there's nothing to stop my plan..
..the demon called Hell has a nice story to sell.
The lie called KJ has a song of pain to play.
But they're nothing,
Just masks of my doing..
And this is my world, my right.
And this is my reality, my life.

It's taken 4 years, filled with many beers.
It's taken the darkness feed, it's taken the demon seed..
..and this plastic piece of shit talent I'd like to call writing.
And even now, as I claim to be the winner of it all,
Hell arises to make the last call.
He says I can never be free..
...he says I can never be me.
That even though I write this song,
Something inside will always be wrong.
But I will not sink to his level and fight,
I'll show him who is right.

You are quite a talented artist! A sure natural. Even though we all do wear masks in one shape or form, I feel through artistic expression those masks are removed and a reflection of our souls revealed!

osci, Which mask is the real you? :D I can't believe you were just 16 when you made this! You are very talented...and, yea, not bad for someone who just does it as a hobby.
